I'd reckon Ellis is our highest earner and rightly so but obviously nobody but the player and FC know how much wages are paid. I'd love for us to spend some of the available cap back on briscoe if its true that he had nowhere to go now and wants to stay. His performances these past few weeks hints at a pick up in form too

I don't know if there's any truth in this, but if there is, and we have spent his money on the likes of Jordan Thompson, then that is one of the worst pieces of business we will ever have done.

Briscoe's new club won't be announced until we're out of the playoffs.

He's going to a top 4 club, I reckon. Myy guess is Leeds and both he and the club know that if its announced, his game will suffer as a result of negativity.

I've been saying the same. Very good winger as well as good fullback cover. I wonder what, if any, bearing Kevin Penny going back to Warrington has on the BJB to Wire rumours.

Good point - they were confident of getting BJB from what i hear. Maybe we trumped their offer and he will be on his way here.
