Standee IIRC said Whiting was average at best at the beginning of the season however he has since had the decency to admit he has played well and seems to be proving him wrong.

I have always been impressed with Whiting but i could also see why others were not. It is a matter of opinion at the end of the day. It would be very boring indeed if everyones opinion was the same.

I think Hall would be better served moving on for the good of his career, yes.

As for the teamsheet, you can only go by what people claim at the time, and it's in the past, so I guess the word "bygones" springs to mind.
