No surprise. The silence on this has been deafening for months. Thankfully we have this open and honest club who are committed to keeping us informed what is happening. Or is it just that the wail got wind of it and they didn't feel like lying to the local rag?

Let's hope they can find someone else to give us £1/2m worth of land

the new site that hull are after is sir henry cooper on orchard park but the nhs have to go back to the begining to try and get the funding approved as it is on the border of hull boundary.

correct, both the henry cooper site and shultz are just over the unitary border in the east riding of yorks area

Uni has a new Vice Chancellor (boss man) coming in, so higher management won't want to sign over a million pounds (the value of the land) to the project, especially in the current economic climate, until he takes the helm and gives it the go-ahead.

The thing is, uni has excellent sporting facilities anyway, so unless it was getting something better out of it it's a lot of money to donate for not much return.
