Have to say I'm gutted for Crocker, the club and us fans as think he would have been a big player not only for Hull FC but for SL as a whole.
Think the decision is total bollox and it stinks but they've made their decision an the wipes they are won't change in and only dig their petty heels in further if we try.

It has some what derailed this season as we are still awaiting clearance for Luaki and chances are even if we sign a player from overseas we won't see them in a Hull shirt in this country until next season in all honesty due to the rediculous length of time it now takes to apply and receive a visa.

Very disappointed.

Gutted that we won't be seeing Crocker in a black and white shirt but, as most people are saying, it's time to move on.
Hopefully the news on Lauaki will be good whenever we find out.

Disappointed he isn't coming but at least now we know. If we was to go for a SH he would have to be British to play this season. Or already here

the players we know we need have all been discussed as coming the season after for the past few years,
theres plenty to play for now.

would a Kiwi or Aussie with a E.U passport have to go through this visa process?

Just heard this on the KCFM 5 o clock bulletin...the crazy announcer said as a headline...'breaking news on the signing of Croker to Hull KR'....I nearly choked on my dinner till the full news story came out and he corrected himself to FC.....

That would be my preferred option.

but at the same time we need a back (no7 and a centre) more than a forward IMO now the club now have the cap space to bring in someone

As good as Myler is and the potential he has I would rather see the club go for someone like Orford who has proven his quality at the top level. As a club we have been lacking a quality 7 for far to long now and I think currently Myler would be the wrong option.

I'm very dissapointed as I was really looking forward to seeing Michael Crocker in the black and white.
What I do have to say though is I think he has been treated abominably by the Borders Agency, and is just another example of how our country is going to the dogs with political correctness, and an absolute lack of common sense and descretion when making decisions!

TBH would just be happy with a 7 that can pass, kick and stay fit

Just a quick question for anyone in the know(chris2icon_cool.gif if someone applies for a visa is there a deadline to when the work has to start? Ie if someone applied now and got there visa in September, would they be able to wait until next January and it still be valid?
