I believe not. Leeds had the choice of Catalans or Wigan last year, I believe. There was some talk on these boards that they might prefer Saints at home rather than at OT, but I don't think it was an option.

It would create a lot of problems if they could, but i hadn't read anywhere that they couldn't, which is why i asked.

The team that gets the pick (highest ranked winner from wk1), can only pick from the winners of wk2, so this means that if we happen to beat Wigan away in the 1st match we can't get picked in wk3.

Thats what i said/implied,meaning winner of sts-warr wouldnt be likely to pick wigan out of winning teams leaving us the left overs i.e WIGAN...again!

On the Wigan board there saying that whoever finishes 4th will probably have to play them on the Sunday instead of the Friday because of Wigan Athletic been at home on the Sat. On the same thread there suggesting that 6th v 7th would be on the Sat afternoon, isn't that the day of the Freedom Festival in Hull, imagine if its Hull v Rovers would the police allow it?

If we beat Wigan, we don't play Saints/Wire away. We have a week off and play the team that the winner of Saint/Wire don't pick. We will also be at home that game. Most likely against Wigan.

Although, if Warrington happen to beat Saints (which very very rarely happens) and we beat Wigan, and it comes down to the same four teams in week three, I could see them picking Wigan over Saints as they've had more luck against them in recent years.
