Maybe another factor is the stadium lease, maybe he wants that sorted before investing too much? As technically we could be homeless in 3 years time and not only is a new stadium costly there wouldn't be enough time to build one now.
Not too worried about the lease though, the SMC will still want our money as it's hard to replace with new income and as things stand it could be 3rd division football on the cards soon.
I don't think the stadium has seen a decent sporting event all year! Bring back the 00s  |

That would be interesting because while he's not the player he was he is a big name and started the last two internationals. It would also be a further sign there is investment as while it seems Wests are willing to fund some of the salary to get rid, he isn't a cheap signing |

West would he paying a massive chuck if salary.
If he signs, I could see Staveley playing prop, that's where I expect him to play most of his career. Cartwright could play there too.
Also think Fash, deserves another chance, as poor as he was last year, previously he has been a decent player. |
