Can't say I am enthused at all by the signing of Thompson and it seems another Joe Average signing of which we seem to make too many.

Nothing more than a squad filler and hardly going to set the pulses racing of the fans and if I'm honest hardly a signing thats shows genuine ambition.

Unless the club really pull 3 or 4 rabbits out the hat then I feel we will have fallen even further behind the pack than we are presently.

Maybe after the recent slump in any kind of form/performances I'm a little pessimistic.

I'll give him my full support as I do with everyone who pulls on the black and white. But I've never seen anything from him to say its a good signing. Good squad cover, but we have our own youngsters to do that on less money.

No. But there's a way. Tearing a 22yr old down before hes ever played for your club is embarrassing for the supposed self professed best fans 18th man n all that. So looking at that so far.....we have picked up a younger player for both and a vastly younger player with nearly 100 S/L apperances who wont be on as much as what Galea was on,so frees up a bit more on cap and gives us a player with experience in the 2nd row where we will be lacking a bit of depth and experience..we will now have Ellis,Pitts,Whiting,Thompson with Kent and Hadley to come in,plus Westerman can go there and have Whiting at 13...would like us to have a line-breaking 2nd rower but they are few and far between,so another big nasty B'stard of a prop will do.
