| Sunning myself in Bali but still checking in. I said way back that if we lost a CC quarter unluckily and won 1 play off game then I would be surprised if AP kept PG in a job. The next 2 home games are Massive but I have more faith in PG and I hope with all faithful hope that winning next 2 at home gives us form and you need form in Cup games. 9am here and 29c in the shade . Time for dip in pool

| 3 very big games coming up, which will define our season, all 3 are very winnable, but we need to get back to the form of May.
Hopefully Ellis, tickle, Briscoe and Yeaman will be back in the side next week.
Still think Leeds will make 4th, as they seem have a good set of fixtures, 5th is still a possibility, but we need to improve out away form though.

| For mine, since beating two teams from the top 4 in the comp ie Warrington & Leeds,
our mental attitude has gone south, this is the coach's responsibility to instill this into his team.
Gentle has done an 'okay' job, in terms of youth, however I personally dont feel he's the guy to lead us to the 'promised land'.
Gentle stated he wanted to improve, & close the gap between our best performance and our worst , not sure that's changed really.

| Still confident we can finish 5th, which would be an improvement. Our consistency is still our worry, we can win/lose any game.
Gentle has done, and is doing, a far better than an 'okay' job with our youth.

I agree, but I also worry that we may be guilty of turning the Leeds fixture into our 'cup final'. We 'got up' for the home fixture last year, and then put a string of poor results together.

I disagree with all those that think the way forward is without gentle. In terms of stability I think the squad is better than it has been in a number of years. Yes we are lacking in the tries department but we are no longer pinning our hopes on a moment of magic unlike a number of times when we had manu etc. the squad is only going to get better with more recruitment and more game time. Gentle himself said he won't focus too much on bringing in players who will make a sudden incredible impact, instead he has been looking for players with great potential that will improve the club as they gain more experience. That along with the likes of lineham, crooks etc will only benefit the club in time which in my opinion will be the backbone of success in the future.

| I think Gentle has done a great job in assembling a much better squad than we've had ay any time since the 2006 grand final, plus he's brought in a number of young players who are performing well. Where I don't think he's achieving is in getting us to perform near our best regularly, we're pretty hopeless away from the KC and we really look worryingly lacking in organisation, ideas and leadership at times. I'm not concerned over his ability right now and he deserves at least until the end of next season to prove what he can do with his own settled side but if we're not serious challengers next season then he needs to be replaced IMO

Completely agree, I'd stick with him for now, but he still has to prove that he is more than just a good Assistant/Youth team Coach

| For us to make top four i think Leeds would have to lose 4 out of their last nine and we would have to win 7 out of 8 which i cant see happening.
I think we will be 5th at best.
Also Gentle is the way forward, just think we could still have agar in charge......
The team needs time (expect more next season)

i posted this after hull had lost away at catalan

i still stand by my point and the fact that you have now been beaten by castleford further backs it up imo.
