Kearney is a miles better FB than Phelps.

From the squad I'd take lynch, Scruton and Raynor (short term).

Jefferies is average but a better 7 than Obst.

As you have said Langley and Elima are no better than our current backrow fowards.

They have some very good young fowards playing that i would happily take as replacements fo lauaki or Fitz for next year in Donaldon, Burgess and Whitehead.

Currentley still a better winger than Sharp, Lyne or Whiting.

Or not saying I would sign him, but he would get into our current 13.

I thought about Langley and Elima but would take Fitzgibbon over Langley every day of the week. I'd also take Manu, Westerman and Tickle over Elima, I really rate Elima but Manu is better, Tickle is good and has the goal kicking and Westerman is a threat with ball in hand which is important for our blunt attack.

I don't really rate Kearney.

I'm not sure I'd take Raynor, he's a decent player but he isn't worth the trouble he brings. Jefferies isn't better than Obst IMO, I'd suggest Wakefield fans would much rather have Jefferies over Obst.. anyway I was talking about fully fit 17s and would have Long over Jefferies everyday.

Phelps over Kearney? come on man wake up. I take it you not seen much of kearney then? hes better than most FBs in superleague. Hodgson, Tomkins are the only ones id put infront of him. Langley and Elima are miles better than westerman and tickle. Tickle... sure he can kick but apart from that nothing special. Langley is more of a battering ram than a LF anyway. Manu i agree with you he is better than both by a long shot. Id sign him up today!!!!!! Bulls also have probably the youngest pack in SL at moment aswell. Whitehead, Olbison Donaldson, Burgess all around 20 years old. Scruton, Hargreaves are mid 20s.

Looking at the stats, which although isn't perfect is probably the most accurate gauge assuming no of us watch Hull and Bradford every week, I'd take Tickle over Elima and Langley - only downside to Tickle is a disappointing amount of missed tackles. Which kind if piddles on your potato sticks, as forwards are widely accepted as being at their best from their late 20's onwards.

I would be more than happy to get the services of both Langley and Elima if available as would most SL clubs and are comparible in some but not all ways to what we have, as for kearney he has been outstanding for you and his support is spot on !!
Great young forwards coming through whom will help push the bulls back up the table in yars to come if they can keep them together long enough, but a great team of great young players mixed with some experience just stuttering a bit due maybe to some inexperience in those young guns , but their day will come ....

Taking him purely as a player,and conveniently ignoring his other exploits,I wouldn`t mind him returning to the fold.

I did - always rated him very highly as a player. Injuries, and more importantly multiple criminal convictions, mean "no thanks", though.

ah van and raynor are both much better than sharp. hull have a vv strong pack but i think elima would be in your squad one way or another. Who are the props as well for you guys, as i would have thought scruton would be in your squad.

I wouldn't have him in front of O'Meley or Moa,but would put him before Radford and Dowes.Saying that,Dowes is playing as good as ever at the moment.

Obviously biased, but to say you wouldn't take Langley or Elima is a bit stupid imo.

Langley is one of the best defenders in Super League, a natural leader and Bradford are a better side with him on the field. If any of you watched Saints v Bulls then you'll know what Elima offers - he was excellent in that game. I Think oyu do have a good backrow, and Fitzgibbon is an excellent player, but it comes close with Manu, and I think Langers & Elima are better players than Westerman & Tickle. All opinion obviously, and we'll get to see them up against each other this sunday!

I would not take Langley but would have Elima coming off the bench, would taken Diskin too and Lynch.
