Wests Tigers five-eighth John Morris has denied reports he has signed a contract to play in England.
The Daily Telegraph today reported Wests Tigers would be looking for a new five-eighth to partner half-back Benji Marshall as Morris had already secured a deal for next season to play in the English Super League.
“The report could not be any further from the truth,’’ Morris said.
“I am very happy at Wests Tigers and the club has been great to me.
“It is disappointing to read that news because my intentions are to stay with the Wests Tigers.’’

| One of their fans wrote: while Morris is a good support player (I did say this earlier) I belive and the whole world can see that his kicking game is very inconsistent. Under pressure in the last 10 minutes of Friday nights game, John was unable to pick the right last tackle option and was also unable to make his kicks stick. That is the facts. His only problem is that he has not taken control of any position and is therefore moved all over the park, which in terM creates inconsistency. That is also fact. Poor choices and decisions result in poor performances.
Sounds right up our street - hooker playing utility role - not an organiser or a decent kicker. When does he arrive? |

Think some people on here myself included dont rate him as a 7. I would be stunned if he was in the Dragons starting 13 he will most probably be used as a impact hooker off the bench. |
