not to worry according to Look North's sports report Bruce is busy signing up most of the city squad that played v Cardiff hoping they will perform in the PL. Gonna be a short stay there if they do, then again maybe thats what Allam wants a cheap squad and his money back in his back pocket from what he laid out in the first place.

You think? Not much of a bargaining chip then surely. Why didn't the council call their bluff, or hull FC/Pearson, even?
I disagree about your lease agreement - it is pretty solid. He'd have to buy it or Pearson out. And there'd be all sorts of unpleasantness, if he did that.
Worst I can imagine for you is a publically-owned smc reporting 'rugby-related losses'. But these things can always be spun - how much the club does for the profile the city, what an important part of the community it is, that sort of thing. Just help them out by not reporting profits of your own those years, if it comes to it. Or if other parts of the business are doing better it can be hidden away. |
