He's not going to sit out half a seasons salary unless we've offered mega money for a player who hasn't played for two years.

Play for Wigan for the rest of the season, I would guess they have maybe put some money aside for him joining mid season.

New deal for Richard and maybe they are looking at keeping Hoffman.

He hasn't earnt any money playing RL for 2 years, is 28 so maybe has 2 more contracts left, if Hull offer him more than Wigan he might have to take it.

Indeed, but we could be a little unwise if we offer him a big contract (or big ish) when he hasn't played the game for so long, a good player, just a calculated risk.

Wigan have a lot of players coming off contract at the end of this season and whilst some will be "must resign" players I reckon they could accommodate Hock if they want to. On the basis that he's been given RFL approval to train from the begining of April I'd have thought that there would have to be some sort of registration in place? The Wigan fans fully expect him to play in July against Leeds. He'd be a mega signing but it's difficult to see how it would come about.

I've been told that he signed his contract with Wigan but we had offered more money and he's trying to get out of it to sign for us!!

GH will be a Wigan player next year , even though out for two years he is aparently mega fit AND has been training with the club for a while now each week , once he is cleared to play again he will walk straight back in and pick up where he left off, along with the England jersey that belongs to him.
Lets face it there are few in the world as good as him when he is on , fast, hard as teak,great feet and hands but most of all he is a clever player too (on the pitch that is)
once he has served his time then he has paid his dues and deserves a chance...
only wish Terry was still around to do the same..

A Player i would like from Wigan who just might be up for grabs at the end of this season is Prescott...

Mentioned Prescott in another thread, decent player imo

Good replacement for Dowes should he leave. Still learning but plenty of grunt in him.
