Not quite sure to which incorrect facts of mine you are referring? KC customers were entitled to buy shares, but the owner of the company was Hull City Council. Not Hull City council and the East Riding of Yorkshire councils. When you bought your shares the proceeds went to the seller, Hull City Council - representatives of the people of Kingston Upon Hull. East Riding residents never owned the original company, despite being customers.
Edit. Just re-read what I'd put. Meant ER customers wouldn't benefit from the profit from the share sale, not from the shares themselves. You meant that incorrect fact, then  . My apologies. |

I visited Beverley at the weekend. I often do. I like the place a lot. I spent a lot of money in Nellies as usual and I even got married there. I'll be well peed off if Samuel Smiths sell it on and don't consult me. |

| Brilliant for the city this. 10th anniversary of the Hull's greatest sporting gift and some loon hijacks it for his own publicity bitching about not being given a £40m asset for nowt with the annual threats to withdraw his team in protest. Well done. Quite why the council won't do business with such a measured and reasonable negotiator who clearly has the best interests of both tenants so sincerely at heart is beyond me.  |

I'm feeling weary already. Hopefully this'll die a death and we won't have to battle another HDM and Blunderside whipped-up frenzied storm. Why oh why doesn't the man stand by his words and just do one?

Staggers me the stupidity.
I am firmly FC but do occasionally support the footie and WAS a good time fan in the premiership as a season pass holder. Last time I checked entertainment was optional.
Think many of us sports fans are diehards in one camp but occasionals in the other, suggest he starts to understand that ??
Him attacking OUR club just reduces the likelihood of us supporting HIS team.
Sad all round, as others have said - toys out of the pram, again.............
