| Think the players should wear knee and elbow pads, when playing on this pitch. And just to be on the safe side, maybe a helmet?
Come to think of it, why not play the game in 4 quarters and go with defensive and offensive teams.
I'm really looking forward to Octobers Super Bow... er, Grand Final

I would have guessed trials would have also taken place on it prior to the RFL's ok to use it.

No injuries in the game at all, were there?
Cuts and grazes are something that occurs in any game on a dry pitch. Of course, if this is something that's going to happen all the time then clubs should be prepared for it. If players need too wear skins, then they need to wear skins. Not the end of the world, is it? They help cool you down in the warm summer months anyway.

| But then we'll have to kick City out because they won't be allowed to play on it. That'd mean we wouldn't need it anyway.
I think City should just get out of our stadium personally so we can get a lovely iPitch and bring back standing area!

That is shocking, i know its no a major injury , but any graze like this needs to be treated with precaution as it could get infected and can be life threatening .

| Those pictures of Mathers knees are truly shocking.
I bet Widnes and the RFL make out it's no big deal, but no players knees should look like that after a game of rugby.
I wonder how long it will be before a player has a serious eye injury after playing on that pitch. I noticed a couple of players got up after making tackles last night and were clearly trying to get someting out of their eye's, obviouslt one of the small rubber baubles. Still, at least it looks nice.

The pies were crap and they'd sold out by half time at the away end. We took more fans than ever before so God help em when you lot go. My tip - get a couple of pies in early doors, or better still take your own.

Halifax should have got the spot, not the plastic chemics.
