correct, the thing is its not as if i couldnt afford one i already had the cash saved up,when the club100 thing came up i thought seen as im already raising money it would make it easy for to get a freebie, cos of that ive also offered a xtra £50 to the foundation from the pass money i had already saved.

| I think the club 100 is wrong imo,the club recieve plenty towards youth devolpment each year from roy waudby foundation, vice presidents, black and white,ex players with all the fundraising they generate going back into the youth, jets programmes but then to try and bring in an extra 50k by giving a few passes away in return is wrong imo,we give enough of our time and money following the team, buying passes, merchandise etc

Don't bother with it then. Others might feel differently though, and who are you to decide that what they want to do is 'wrong'?

| Quote: Panda92 "I wasn't criticising you at all Wolfie - what you're doing is great, admirable, and I certainly couldn't do it - all I was saying to BB is that when people give away money, they like to know where it's going. That was all. I wasn't having a go at you, and didn't mean you to take it as such, I was just trying to explain that fact to her, which she doesn't seem to like.'"
I dislike racism, bullying, and pot noodles to name a few things. Some stranger responding to my post I neither like nor dislike.
What I find sad is the fact we have a bloke who has got off his backside and taken on a mamoth task (losing a lot of timber is no mean feat), and decided to not only benefit himself but a lot of others through various charities, yes maybe an opportunity has arisen in which he could get a personal benefit for all his hard work (a season pass), so what I for one do not blame him. I sponsered him I am not bothered where the proceeds go, clearly other individuals will benefit, I mean for fecks sake it is not going into his back pocket is it, he is hardly running off with the diddulum is he!
Get behind the bloke for gods sake..

| Quote: wolfie "ive just signed up to the foundation,i think its agreat idea,im very fortunate that im in the process of doing some fundraising for the RNLI and the roy waudby foundation through my weight loss,i contacted the club and asked if it was ok if i split the money i raise between all the 3 causes that way everyone is a winner,i also said that i would give another £50 to the club100 from the money id saved for my season pass seen as im getting one for doing the fundraising, ive currently had about £1600 pledged so far so all 3 will do realy well from me,i decided to add the club100 to my fundraising as i think its a great idea, also of course the offer of a season pass was to good to turn down,i might aswel get something out of it for all the suffering im going through with this bloody health kick
Well done mate. You are doing a excellent work for the charities concerned and if you can get some benefit from the new scheme then I don't see a problem with it. You should be proud of what you have done so don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

| would it not be fairer wolfie for the two charities originally involved the RNLI and the roy waudby foundation to split whatever money was ever raised in pledges between the two (before the club 100 was set up ) ?
and whatever money has been raised in pledges since club 100 has been set up the 3 ways the RNLI the Roy Waudby and club 100 so nobody misses out?

Ive spoken to richard from the RNLI, and roger waudby and they dont have a problem on the full amount been split 3 ways, all 3 charities will recieve a minimum of £550 i think thats a fair split dont you, also both charities have already recieved some money from other fundraising ive done over the last year.
Its irrelevant anyway as ive stopped asking for donations and ive not recieved any pledges since the club100 became such an issue with people, ill just cut my losses now finish my weight loss and make the donations, like ive already said the money im donating to the club100 is from friends and family and they dont have a problem with it. thats the last i want to hear about it as its becoming boring now.
