The Grix tackle penalty was shocking shouts from both ref and vid ref, and Kirk let Halibut know it too didnt he

So the tackle on grix was deemed fine by the rfl and by both coaches ,but will Mr alibert or Mr Bentham be reprimanded for the mistake ?

To be fair to Alibert he had no problem with the tackle until told by the VR that it was high. At that point he was pretty much obliged to give the penalty.

No idea why Bentham thought he had to step in. My guess would be because Grix had been injured.

That is something I find disconcerting and serves to simply undermine the authority of the ref on the field. I could understand it if Bentham considered Yeaman's tackle was worthy of an instant dismissal but for him to exert influence in that way was simply pi[is[/ispotical
