We know better than anybody that you can't bring a few good players in and get success. TBH i'm quite underwhelmed by who he's signed after all the bluster of the last few months.

Still the rumour of briscoe going to Salford seems to be wrong tho. And it's all quiet on the Leeds board now too. The only other place I can think of is either Wigan or yawnion. Just guesses there as iv heard nothing about him of late. Be a shame to replace him with crookes tho if that's true. Nothing against the guy he's just nowhere near briscoe a potential and don't think he ever will be.

Exactly, some desperate attempts to pass off his departure as nothing. He's a huge loss to a club with supposed top 4 ambitions. |

Yeah he's only 23 and yes his form has dropped since he wanted to move but even then he's still one of the best wingers in super league and on form probably one of the best in the world. He will be a huge loss and I'd hope FC have done everything in there power to keep hold of him even if it is to spend a chunk of the salary cap on him. I also agree that if the money had been spent on Thompson then our recruitment is a laughing stock.

I highly doubt his wage has just been allocated to Thompson, seeing as back when Briscoe's deadline passed the rumour was it was to do with how much we were offering Paea.
