maybe i want to believe it to explain Hull's woeful display, shaun briscoe missed more 1 on 1 tackles in that game than the rest of his career.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

| Quote: R.B.A "In 2007 we had dignity and Stanley Gene. In 2013 we have apathy and Sean Gleeson.
I'm travelling over with my family and my black and white supporting best pal and his family. To be honest, after watching Hull lose to Rovers 4 times at Magic Weekends it will be nice for him to see you win one. I just hope you declare at 60 and he doesn't give me to much stick afterwards!'"
There will be a pint waiting for you win, lose or draw!
This is the one game that the form book does go out of the window and I fully expect a fired up Rovers side putting in the kind of commited performance that they are only capable of producing in a derby.
Lets hope its the players performances we are talking about after the game and not the officials as well!

| Don't care if we win by a point or 100 points.
A win is a win and a vital 2 points also.

| I either want to hammer them by 30+ points, or win in the final 5 minutes from an extremely controversial decision.
Something akin to Leeds' win over Bradford in the very first Magic Weekend would do.

Biggest Margin 32-2 on Christmas Day 1953 (53/54 Season)
Went to this one played on a Friday but sketchy memory as to where it was played. At Boothferry Park? Hull City played at home on Boxing Day!
Maybe I have it mixed up with the Derby played at Boothferry Park in April 1953. This was a Rovers" home" fixture and attracted a crowd of over 27,500 which is still a record attendance for any HKR home fixture.

Was that when Sinfield went for goal but kicked it to the corner for a Leeds try??

Was the one where he hit the crossbar from a penalty and Tansey scored under the posts whilst he was stood miles offside. You can find it online if you search "Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls (Millenium Magic)" in the right place.
It might only be worth two points on the table but derbies are worth more than that.

I think I remember that one happening. Was it Burrow who scored it? Can't even remember if the try was allowed to stand or not.

Im not sure if it was Bai or Calderwood. Could of bin anyone but i do no that Sinfield kicked it into the corner and Leeds scored a try from it.
Can't remember if it was allowed or not. Think that was also against Bradford.

The only excuse i could come up with in that game, was that we had a certain so called player(BUTCH MAVIS), imo the worse ever player in Superleague history handing the game on a plate for you.

There was another match, Dave, where Leeds got a penalty with out 30 seconds left and they chose to kick for 2 but Sinfield instead kicked into the corner and somebody scored from it.
The funny thing was Sinfield even signalled by pointing out to the corner that that's what he was going to do!
