I agree.There is surely a british prop available,who we could go for,even if we have to pay a small fee?As for the halves now,i reckon everyone can forget about Chase,as we are in more need of a 7,to replace Long.

Longs ratio for playing must be worse than Dykes.

We need a half with a kicking game and the ability to get a team around the park. Doesn't matter if its a 6 or 7.

Plus at least whenever Dykes played he was 1 of our best players.

If Dykes had have been fit he would have been the best 7 in the league at the time.

I was getting at the fact that when Long plays he is nothing special anyway.

Which is why i think we need a 7 more than a 6,as there aren't many 6's around with a decent kicking game,plus,we can use Horne,Obst,and hopefully Danny Nicklas in this area.A 7 is a must,unless we plan on using Ellis as starting 7,but which i would doubt.

id give ellis the role,no point in signing him if we are not going to play him.lets give youth a chance.

Chase has a good kicking game. I understand what your saying, 7's are historically better kickers. But you'd referred to Chase, he has what we need imo. Stick Horne in the 7 shirt alongside him, or Ellis.

let both fitz and lauaki go and bring in seymour and sign a english forward a shame because i would of liked lauaki to stay or sign another top experienced overseas player in fitz calibre

I think that the initial reaction from the Rovers fans was because many thought he was play acting to buy his team some time whilst they were defending on their line. The mood changed when it became clear he was seriously injured, certainly around where i was stood.
I've suffered a dislocated shoulder that the medical team couldnt put back into place and let me tell you it hurts like heck and i certainly wouldnt cheer anybody else going through it.

I dont think he is finished by a mile but now goven all the injuries recently his mental state will have took a beating also because he is above all else a proud lad who loves playing...
another 6 weeks will be bad for him and they are saying 6 weeks minimum.... could be the season because of the collateral damage who knows just yet...
