Possibly his best game for Hull yesterday I thought. Must admit I was 50/50 when PG picked him over Green but he certainly justified his inclusion. Brave display as well with bang on the head/double vision. |

Pitts is a fantastic player, always know what you will get from him. Similar mould to Chris Green but a bit more experienced. |

Not just you mate,Thought he was immense yesterday. Some really strong carries and he hits like a train in defence. As for Whiting, he will go down in history as one of our best and most underrated players IMO, certainly in the super league era. |

runs at the line with pure aggression, still think he might be more useful out wide in the 2nd row.
Hopefully him, Green, and Bowden will be making many yards for us in the future  |

If you base it on that it's most likely going to be the same players every week unless they have a shocker, and thereby a redundant process. |

I've always rated him as a backrower, but yesterday was the first time I've truly rated his performance at prop. Like Staffs I was a bit unsure about him being picked, but he fully justified it. |

Fair enough best to leave it as it is. That said Whiting's value yesterday was clearly his versatility when on another day if he plays in the back row then that versatility is less valuable. |

His knock on from a bread and butter pass was very unlike Whiting and very nearly led to a try and he was out of position for the Waterhouse try (still not convinced he grounded that actually). All in all he did ok filling in at fullback.

I'm running out of superlatives for Richard Whiting. You just get great every week. I also thought Gareth Ellis had a tremendous game. Defended exceptionally and really attacked the line with the ball.
