The RFL would, I hope, want two games with full(ish) grounds, so will hopefully be persuading the Beeb to get the stuff in the van on Saturday afternoon and drive to Hull for our game.

tbh all games look very good on paper and could go any way fantastic for rugby league but id be very suprised if hull wasnt a televised game but i woundt mind the cas vs hudds game that should be a really good game that with a fullish stadium and the way cas play its always good to watch them a great oppitunity for them to progress to the semis. saints rovers should be good aswell but no doubts there will be 6k there max

senior was poor and should have packed it in at the end of last season.
Whats funny is you hull lot have got ya knickers in a twist over nowt! You are the fans saying youre happy with the draw as Leeds a poor now and you got an easy draw. Where us Leeds fans are just confident as I think fc are still pretty average as your league position and performance against Widnes would suggest. there were times in that game where Widnes opened you up pretty easy. I tuned in to radio humberside and it wasn't pretty. A bit like the bulls v fax. |

They have quite a few OB set ups, not just one!!
One is based in Leeds and one in Manchester so it wont be a problem to cover the Hull game on the Sunday. |

I remember not so long ago when we could be considered their "bogey" team, I see no reason why we can't beat L**ds on the day, but there are a lot of games (and potential injuries) to come between now and July 24th. |

I didn't suggest they just had one, I know they have many more than one, but how do you know there's only the RL that they might need an OB for, and the biggest cost with an OB is crew anyway, I was simply suggesting how a decision migh be made.
In an ideal world they would show all of the Q/F games, two on Saturday and two on Sunday, but the German Grand Prix is that weekend, so you can count out a BBC1 game on either day I'd imagine. |

As a Hull fan I wanted a home draw first and fourmost. The in terms of preference of who I would have preferred it would have been:-
Cas
Rovers
Hudds/Leeds
Saints
Wire
Wigan

But they are committed to showing two games so either they move the same one from wigan/wire on the saturday to somewhere else on the Sunday or they take the one from Leeds for Sunday and move the one used for wigan/wire somewhere else on Sunday should they need it.
Either way they are going to need two crews and 2 OB's that weekend for Rugby League.
Plus with a stadium like Hull's it is not much to set up, all cable is in place for dressing room cams and the like.
I think it will be Hull V Leeds, especially as it was a final a few years back, the BBC love that sort of rubbish talk before a game. |
