Some peoples dislike of radford really is strange. Its like people need an individual player to blame for us under performing as a side. I can tell you now 100% that if we had a different captain on the pitch we would have still lost the games we have this year and if Radford didnt play we would have probably lost more than we have.

I am not knocking Radford at all, he has had a very good career and is still doing well. The fact is though that he is not a captain and whether or not a new captain would have made the results any different we still need a better leader on the pitch.

We need a better coach and leaders on the pitch. Thats entirely different to needing a different captain. Your captain isnt the only leader out there!

Its the same with all strategy based sports, you need assistants for the leaders, both on and off the field as one man can't do everything, so you can't lay everything at Radders or Agars door.

Yes, I believe we need better coaching staff and a more advanced set-up, but I think this still can only come from one area, the board, so while everyone dissects the "leader" issue as a whole, the people at top need to make these changes and that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
