There's no personal issue, you just write alot of rubbish on here that's all.
in your opinion it's rubbish, but my opinion is my opinion, I don't pretend it's anything else.

so, respond to posts and not the poster in future, if you'd be so kind.

Good luck to Richard Agar. Hope Bomber's appointment turns out to be a good move (I'll reserve judgement). Peter Gentle: well he must be the most high profile assistant in the world, let's hope he can step up and meet the expectations of a hungry FC fanbase.

The king is dead, long live the king.

Quote: The Bomber IS Back "I'm trying not to get carried away.

it's another transformation process, things don't happen overnight, days, or weeks, it may even be what have to write off another season, while the team of players (including new ones) get bedded in to the team, and the new coach stamps his philosophies into the team.

Either way, things are looking up.

Just remember, this is not a quick fix. There's some members on here that I suspect will be calling for a head soon, infact a fair few on here you can never please, from a true til i die Hull F.C fan, I'm very happy with this news, and I look forward to being with all you fans next season in the east stand/kc stadium cheering our boys on!

COME ON U HULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!'"

Surely he will get at least 3 years (same as Agar) to prove himself before the fans turn on him?? icon_smile.gif This is brilliant news and music to my ears. Agar has come good these last few games but I put this down to the players giving him a good farewell (same as what is happening on the Darkside!)

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club." Adam Pearson, FC Website 23-09-2011:

Wonder where this leaves Jimmy Rule, is he needed now??

Surely AP and SM can do his job between them.

Yes sure James Rule is needed, he is Marketing / Commercial (not rugby organisational/direction matters)

Bomber is Director of Rugby (not Marketing/Commercial)

They are totally different roles.

Rule is primarily a marketing man and we need to continue our success on that side of the operation.

I've supported Hull for too many years to worry about a coach leaving. I didn't want Buntig to leave but he did, I didn't want DDD to leave but he did, I didn't want Smith to leave but he did, I didn't want Royce Simmons to leave but he did, I didn't want Bomber to leave but he did, I didn't want Kear to leave and I didn't want Sharp to leave but they did. I wanted to see Agar have success and he still might this year. I'd briefly enjoy the irony but it's FC I support so I'll wish Agar well for the rest of the year and then I'll be hoping that "low-profile" Gentle scrubs up nicely for us next year and I'll support him as part of the club set-up.

Do we know how long he's signing for? Two years?

I know this is the start of a new era and one where for the first time in years we can look forward to a better seaon then the last. Its not going to happen overnight, but the foundations are looking good and Bomber is the man for the job for me to bring the best out of young players.

For to long the fans have accepted 2nd rate rugby and paid top whack for it, now it looks like we are getting a regime in that will take on the field performance as being important as the profit margin. Get the rugby right on the pitch and the club could draw in 16 -17 K every home game easily. I see no reason why James Rule will not continue at the club he has done a great job thus far. Having him at the helm would allow Bomber and Jimmy to run there part of the club, freeing up AP to maintain hi Tiger commitments whilst keeping a hand on the tiller.

Exciting times are around the corner I can feel it..............

Good Luck Rich you worked really hard and tried everything you knew but it wasn't enough for our club the right decision has been made for both parties.

I'll admit to been a little underwhelmed when I heard Mcrae's name mentioned as DOR but hopefully like others have mentioned its more of a office based role looking at the overall football side of the business. He cannot be allowed to get involved with the coaching side of the club because what decent head coach would be comfortable with that?

At this moment in time I will trust that AP knows what he is doing and as got everything sorted. The goos thing about Mcrae's time at Hull was his recruitment for me he said some very good overseas players.

Sounds good to me. Bomber certainly is not afraid to put the youngsters in. Lets hope his choice of coach has similar views.

He does and he is media friendly as well which will raise the clubs profile, Rich Agar did not come across too well on either tv or radio IMHO.

Knowing Bomber I reckon it is Peter Gentle icon_biggrin.gif

He will know him and it vital that they work together, I can not see Morgan or Noble working with Bomber as sort of boss. These guy have been top flight coaches too long to accept anyone around who could undermine them if he felt they where doing the job wrong.
