Sounds like we should have put 40 on Bradford. Still too many errors, is the pressure agar is feeling transmitting to the players in any way? I know it shouldn't because they are all pros so why can they not be consistant for 80 minutes at least. It sounds at times like we're playing great rugby then other times like a NL2 side!

We won today so lets not get too gloomed up but I am not one of Horneys biggest fans, takes more then being local and having a good game once every 6 months to impress me.

Like Sharp? Lauaki has been dropped this year too and I reckon he may be next week too. Fitzgibbon was moved to prop today even though many suggested that Agar wouldn't dare and Radford was also dropped for poor form.

That been said, Agar still struggles to get the players in the right frame of mind.

Your last point is a good one. For me motivation is Agar's biggest challenge and not tactics. It shows itself often in derby matches - we should want it more when we play in any game. Again a top on field vocal leader at half back would help with that.

Thinking more of Turner and Lyne, everyone can see that neither are good enough (maybe still time for Lyne) Sharp for his faults at the moment is twice the player Lyne is.

Saying that an away win without 2 pivotal players in Phelps and Long and Gleeson is a good win.

Despite Sharp being a bit poor recently he is better than Lyne and offers much more going forward.

Lyne still needs to be exposed to this level but preferably outside of Martin Gleeson to help him progress but he should be better for the experience.

Sharp would be my first choice on the right wing though.

While I agree with Sharp being better than Lyne atm, surely you'll agree with the sentiment that Sharp had to be dropped and Lyne was the most viable option to replace him.

I wouldn't have dropped sharp, mainly because we had no one better to replace him.

Tbh, at the moment I wouldn't mind seeing Whiting at FB and Phelps on the right wing.

If Phelps is fit I would rather him at FB, Whiting never lets us down but his lack of pace can be a problem. That way Whiting can replace either Lyne or Turner depending on if Gleeson is back next week.

Any win away from home can only be good for the team. We need a good run of wins before we also expect them to play with style. Seems some people are never satisfied - win or lose. Lets face facts, we are not good enough to make the top four. Well done today lads!

All that needs to be said IMO. First half pretty good and looked capable of scoring whenever we got the ball. Last 45 minutes (up to our final try) was spent cursing and sulking. I know I've given him his own thread, but thought Yeamo put in some really telling hits today at important points. Our left is as good as our right is average though. Hope Phelps and Gleeson are back soon.

Don't agree with you on that I'm sad to say. Hudds, Wigan, Wire, Saints and even Leeds are all better than us and by a big gap especially the first four I mentioned.
