Pretty much how I see it. Pearson and Hudgell are business collegues and I doubt theres any animosity between them. Pearson isn't an FC fan as such and I would have thought has no underlying beef with HKR. It wouldn't surprise me if Pearson hasn't talked directly to NH and asked him to stick the boot into the old board.

The laughable thing about this thread is that if what NH said means he hates FC then a lot of the posters on here must also fall into that bracket as there has been a call for KH and the old board to be brought to task.

As for hin cheering when FC lose or get scored against then good on him. Most of you were after a board that understood what a Derby match meant, would you be happy to watch AP cheering on HKR at a game??

He would if he thought there was money in it. He's admitted he's not a rugby fan, he probably is now more than he was but he hasn't been brought up in it all like the average fan has.

He's a sports fanatic,but also a businessman in his own right.The losses at most football clubs,far outweigh the losses he will have to deal with at hull fc.

I find the suggestion that Hudgell is somehow doing Hull or AP a favour by calling for a full enquiry stretching credibility to say the least. Sure Uncle Kath and Agar amongst others would face some uncomfortable questions but every other player and club employee present at that time, the majority of whom are still there would have their time wasted and work distracted responding to questions that will ultimately achieve nothing given that no other players failed a drug test. Great for morale and team spirit - not.

Hudgell is merely being the person (Chris)that he has always been. If he really wants to be a standard bearer for truth, honesty and transparency regarding RFL decision making perhaps he could lead the way by revealing the correspondence that went on and the promises that were made regarding the registration of Willie Mason.

A more likely explanation is that the person (Chris)is using this opportunity to distract attention from the further delays in the stadium developments he has lied about for years and the predictably underwhelming performances of his cheapskate team in their first 2 pre season games.

If you read my original post you'll see I wasn;t questioning whether he was a proper fan now or not.
What I was trying to say was that his dislike of HKR will not be what the average FC's is. He would no doubt be a Hull fan now, just as will have been a Leeds Utd fan a City fan a Derby fan before and no doubt would have been a Huddersfield fan if he had been successful in buying them.
