Thats the culture of your club, obviously. Maybe under a more stricter regime and one with better coaches the likes of Lee, Maloney and Horne could prosper. Wheeldon certainly seems a better player in the second half of the season than when he came (he is certainly fitter and better built physically to cope with being a prop in SL). |

We had that under Sharpe and he wanted rid of a couple more but board wouldnt back him. |

Todd Byrne was a dependable and useful player but a very poor use of a quota place.
Thackray and King could have both been so much more and both had to go.
G Horne and Lee should both count themselves lucky to have been here so long and I'm glad to see the back of them.
Thorman was a strange signing and a huge let down. No brainer really even for Hull FC.
Maloney probably just not big enough to make it at a big SL club. Good luck to the guy.
Cordoba turned out to be a really good short term signing and under different circumstances, could easily have stayed.
All in all it shows that we are finally going forward with our squad and we must be challenging for the top six next season, at the very least.'"

If thats the case until you get a change at board level and have people who will back the coach its unlikely to change. |

Good to see our club Doing something to stop and get rid of those players that help project bad feeling within a squad and thuggerish behaviour off the pitch as well as not performing to they true potential.
ROVERS COULD LEARN A LESSON IN THAT DEPARTMENT. |

Looks as though they have backed Agar with this clear out...and whatever the board do or dont do...we are still a profitable club and dont have to hold jumble sales in a city centre shopping arcade. |

At one time or another they have all put it in for the team obviously some more than others. Sad to see players leave and I hope they all get fit where applicable and fixed up at other clubs.
Now I'm off to clear my loft out.

Trouble is that Kath is a greedy 2@ and won't spend the profits on a decent coach and wants everything on the cheap. Your club is owned by people who dont give a to$$ about it and only want to make money, ours is run by people who love the club and are not focused on lining their own pockets.
You can make £100 million profit, you can still only spend £1.6 million on your squad, the rest would go into the shareholders pockets. |
