So Pearson walks away. Then what. This guy has made mistakes but without him well I honestly don't know. He's put his time and money into this club. Certainly on some things has been guilty of making the wrong decisions. But I dread to think what would happen if he just walks away.

I also don't think anyone goes into RL to make money, its more of a personal enjoyment project for him, and possibly at the start a way of sticking two fingers up to the Allams (everyone was taken by surprise that morning when the takeover was announced)

I personally I feel his heart is in the right place, in particular he spent big in 2013, again in 2016 and then again for 2020 to try and bring sucess, most of of that outlay has been wasted such as Fonua and Reynolds being paid off.

McRae, Radford and Hodgson all have made mistakes on contracts and signings. Only Motu can hold his head up high recruitment in the Pearson era.

Pearson should have backed Gentle rather than let the players down tools, that just led to two more dead seasons while we rebuilt. Radford should have gone after that long spell of defeats in 2018. I'll excuse hiring and firing Last as it was just a weird season, and due to Covid an Aussie coach couldent have flown in anyway.

We needed a Tony Smith type experienced head coach years ago, that has been Pearsons biggest mistake in my eyes.

Pearson looks a broken individual. The finances are a mess , the club is a mess.He needs to do the right thing and walk away.

I think you maybe right if I’m being honest. I don’t doubt he has made mistakes and some big ones however he has always been prepared to put his money in.
I think he is frustrated, annoyed and disappointed much like us all. I think he knows he’s made the mistakes too and wasted time and money with those mistakes. Above all I think he’s needed help and support at the top as it’s an awful lot to take on and handle on your own.
In regards the comment about his last coaching appointment I would imagine it’s more to do with looking at taking a back seat in these matters rather than being the one solely responsible as I imagine the pressure is immense on his shoulders.

I think it would help if he communicated a little more with the fan base rather than the emotional outbursts we have seen.
The fact is there are very few people/investors that would want to take on a SL club due to the way the sport is run and it takes money rather than makes money.

What is a concern is if we are genuinely spending up to 2.1M on the squad then that really is/has been wasted on the players over the past 3-4yrs. I hope some of the players actually read his statement and their consciences give them a kick up the ar5e.

Just think AP needs to be honest and open with the clubs fan base without any sales pitch thrown in.

Maybe it's this attitude that people within the club at Hull FC also have.

Granted, Rovers haven't won trophies, we don't have a luxurious 25k state of the art stadium with amazing facilities, but what we do have is a stadium fit for purpose. I don't profess to know how much Hull pay to play at the MKM, what's easy to assume is you pay a decent amount, for the privilege of playing in a stadium that's too big for your needs, albeit for one game a year, why, because its shiny? It needs to be more it needs to be cost effective, actually bring revenue into the club through more then just ticket sales....

Rovers are investing in all areas of the club, they're looking at making that 1 1/2 decent stand you say we only have, into 2 1/2. and frankly that will be good enough. We are actively improving facilities and matchday experience to increase revenue streams which ultimately benefit the club.
This club you dismiss so lightly has made that an actual reality through having a vision and the willingness to drive the club forward.

Who knows what the future holds but Rovers are striving to give themselves the best possible chance of sustained success.

On Craven Streat a friend of mine was approached to have his burger van there. The actual money made by KR is "not per burger or per pint" those are actual businesses on there. Kr just charge by the pitch which granted is still better then say what Huddersfield away could bring.

We hear that they are this club everyone should strive to be yet they have to give tickets away to get over 10k. Havent won a trophy in decades and there academy situation is woeful. In reality they are in the top 4 in april and only submitted plans for a 3g pitch.
