Not many other teams have a back up halfback, Rovers would be fooked without Dobson for example.

I am quite hopeful that one of young halfbacks might soon be ready to step up and play a few games in Sl in the next couple of years.

Personally I am quite happy with Briscoe at centre next season with Hall and Whiting as back up.

Think the plan will be to develop a youngster into the role of backup 7 with a view to possibly being the long term answer when Long leaves.

Not much else you can do TBH. There's only so much cap and tying it up on a backup halfback isn't an efficient use of it.

Yes we have two. Both at a bit young at the moment, saying that I would rather give them a game than Thorman.

In case of injuries we do have washbrook who could cover stand off in the short term.
