| Connor is somewhat of an enigma
So much talent capable of winning a game but also capable of losing a game.
If like the ref told him to concentrate on the game instead of yapping we’d see a difference.
He’s what I’d call a luxury player
Great when you are dominating a game but when under the pump he loses it

Every team in Super League would sign him if they could.

Hasn't he got quite a lot of assists for us? I mean, those are essentials aren't they, not luxuries.

| if Griffins' injury is a lengthy spell, could see Shaul slotting back in at FB and Connor to centre

I hope not. We've started been able to open teams up out wide and Connors passing is the main reason for that which we'd lose with him at centre.

Think we will go with Scott. Or Fonua at centre and Faraimo on the wing?

| Connor can be annoying but I see little difference between him and Scarsbrook in their approach to the game, except the latter doesn’t get penalised as much. Scarsbrook consistently talks back to the referee. He has hands all over the ball player at the play the ball. Even when marker when the opposition are restarting after, say, a knock on he has hands on the man with the ball. Referees just ignore this.
Best team won but with a fair share of luck and some favourable runs of decisions from the ref. As soon as Hull got some similar decisions - when Saints were three scores up and after 50 minutes - we scored. Hull should have been more composed with the ball in hand but they were the ones having to push the game after the above.

Thought Satae took a knock, hopefully OK but short turnaround I guess.

To credit the referee for your comeback is a huge disservice to the team. Momentum swang from team to team, and Satae Sao and M’au had a huge role in bringing momentum which led to you scoring the tries in the second half. Similarly Naiqama, Knowles and Lomax did for Saints period of momentum. It was a good game decided by an intercept which could have won you the game if it hadn’t come off.
We could get into tittle tattle of splitting decisions (like I will happily point to Sneyd headbutting Walmsley, which precedence is set at a red and a 2 match ban) but the game was better than that and not dictated by the ref.

| Totally gutted after today, to fight back to be within 3 points with 8 mins to go after the pressure St's put on us was unreal. Fages deserved all the e after his display of total lack of sportsmanship, if he would of stopped the play everyone would be saying great sportsmanship but he didn't so what does that say. Our support was amazing today even with so few of us the noise was terrific. We watched game afterwards and it was a snails to our game. I'm very confident we will be in the mix at the end of the year.

Got a feeling mcshane would struggle if he was at a bigger club with expectation
Like Ian Watson moving from Salford to Huddersfield knew that would happen
You get big fish in small ponds and this is it
But Houghton never good enough need a new hooker big time, he's the reason we haven't won a grand final by now
Houghton offers nothing in attack never has tackle 52 was 5 years ago
