that's where we are at present might change but still a very long shot, possible, but not tonight probable, for the reasons outlined above. Thing is he's pretty desperate to come and we want him and he is doing what he can to make it happen but Huddersfield won't entertain him leaving!

I would have signed Menzies & peacock at 33. & they played in a more physical position, broughy has a good 3-4 years in him yet, plus he will end up coaching, & its that pivotal coaching role we need for years to come, fingers crossed we get him soon or latest for 2017.

Pryce when plays brings something to the table, I agree promoting from within but when they are ready for SL not so we can watch the confidence smashed out of players because we rushed them in.

Would any SL club signing Marshall just be signing a name, I do wonder how effective (bothered) he'd be if he was coming purely because he can't get an NRL spot. His career seems on a downward spiral now and regardless of how good he once was I feel he will destabilise any club he goes to.

Cant disagree, all club needs players that WANT to be at the club they sign for not just because its the only gig they can get, which if that was the case with Marshall you wonder if he would give his all or come to SL & rip it up for a few months then when some NRL club comes sniffing again he claims he's homesickor some other issue then buggers off leaving said club in the lurch? How many times have we all seen this done in the past.
