I have no idea on actual salary, but clearly we are paying someone too much. We have all heard of stupid salary paid to sportsmen. My favourite was Seth Johnson and the old leeds situation. Hull City have also been guilty. hmmmmm

So Michael Witt signing was all over twitter last night. I would prefer him to Pryce.

Agreed, Sad state of affairs though when it's a toss up between Pryce and Witt. Neither excite me and if I'm honest I think I prefer Hull to bide their time.

Example Miller, Triester, Pitts, Watts and I'm sure they're a few more that we've signed after the season has started. I just feel we've been seven years waiting so I'm prepared to wait a bit longer for the right one.

I'd rather not tbh, i'd rather replace him with the best available player for the start of the season. I'd take Witt or Pryce on a years deal.

I agree on getting someone for the start of the season but just can't agree with Pryce being one of our options.

I respect everyones opinion, Personally I'd run with Miller and Horne with AH as back up for now unless something crops up from the WC.

Pryce is a no go and I just think Witts best days are also behind him.

I would prefer to take either Witt or Pryce on a 1 year deal than risk taking a relatively unknown / unproven player highlighted at the world cup.

Sure a player may serve up the best 2 or 3 games of his life on the big stage, but then be a total flop for a full season with Hull.

I would be much happier with either of the 2 proven performers mentioned. I would have to say Witt would be my preferred option.

You see that's the problem for me. Neither have proven a great deal over the last 12 months. If Witt could regain the form shown at Crusaders then that's different but it's a big if.

Is there nobody with a year left on contract we could put a decent offer in for?
