Standing up to the forum bully. It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated:

The derby isn't a foregone conclusion. Rovers beaten at leeds and Hull easily versus Celtic. Should be on a high for the derby. Get your tickets for what i believe will be an excellent, passionate game.
Hull selling South stand tickets and Rovers golf stand tickets both on general sale.

Game on.

Hull EASILY!!!! against Celtic???

Errrr we made hard work of it, and if we keep Rovers to 20 points i think we can class it as a result.

Hull easily?

they were loosing up until the 65 min mark in what was quite possibly the dullest game I've ever had the misfortune to attend. getting 3 late tries to give a lopsided score is in no way indicative of a "close" game next week.

I fully expect another non committal cant be d performance from 80% of the squad for 90% of the game. Speaking of which, did Radford actually get above a gentle stroll in the country speed at any point in the game? lost count of the number of times he was still making his way back into the attacking line on the 3rd tackle from wherever he ended up after the 1st one.

Radford needs to be either out of the team or at prop (for this season anyway) then put Whiting at loose man, then Yeamen into the centre if hes fit if not Broughton or dare i say it G.Horne.

Standing up to the forum bully. It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated:

As was stated earlier in this thread if Hull and Rovers positions were reveresed fans would be queuing round the KC to buy tickets and banging down the doors of Rovers shop to buy Golf stand tickets and quite rightly.
Derby matches are one off's and whatever else has gone on during a season this one game can go a long way to putting a smile back on the fans faces and bring back a little feel good factor. Rovers players could easily think this game is a foregone conclusion and Hull Fc's local contingent will be particuarly fired up for this one and like him or not Rovers most creative player is almost certain to miss this one with a pulled hamstring. Derby matches bring the banter, the build up and the knowing that bragging rights are on offer for another few months.
TV or not all fans from both sides should be at Craven Park on saturday evening creating an unrivalled atmosphere in Rugby League and show the viewing public what thie game means to the public of Hull. Forget Hull City this should be the big one in the season.
FWIW, i remember Rovers fans packing out the North end of the KC when they were playing FC in friendlies pre season before their super league promotion. That is dedidication, commitment and support. They knew the result was a foregone conclusion but it was a derby and meant a great deal to the Red and Whites, it would be nice to believe the Black and White cause will be just as strong this coming weekend.

They were also getting less than 2000 for home games. Dedication indeed.

My point exactly. Derby games mean much more to most fans.

How is it "dedication, commitment and support" to turn up for a derby game but not bother for the rest of the season? icon_confused.gif
