Yeah, if Green-Bowden-Pitts could do what Dudson-Crosby-Flower did this year that is the sort of thing which can make more of a difference than shuffling like for like.

I agree 100%. If a supporter of either club thinks they have recruited much better across the board then they are deluded. How many other clubs were in the market for these players? What either club is hoping for is that Feka rekindles some old form or that Keating is a solid replacement for Dobson etc.. but neither is guaranteed.

Wouldnt touch Sandow. Hes been rank for Parra and seems like his head is elsewhere. We need someone consistent.

Regarding props, any NRL experts know what Shane Shacklton is up to these days? He wasn't a bad player. Also, anyone reckon Tom Learoyd-Lahrs would be worth a punt?

Doubt any club over here could tempt Learoyd-Lahrs away from the NRL.

hull have made one of the best signings of the season in Micky Paea IMHO. he's a real crowd pleaser.

Sandow is a pretty exciting player to watch , Yes he has his failings notably his defense but I'd love to see him in SL .

Think bulls have slightly improved tbf . With the exception of Lulia it's not the end of the world who they have let go . Carvel , Gaskell and ferguson are good additions imo

As much as I have been dissapointed by DH's lack of real impact by going into next season without a new halfback who is better & who will be able to help Miller out would be suicidal!

Maybe so but I don't see how we are spending the full cap & if we are some people are being overpaid!

As I said I feel we will pull of a couple of decent signings cos at present Paea aside the signings are hardly exciting. Tuson I like but people seem to have been sucked into this there's no talent around yet Salford sign Chase & Hock whilst saints pack next year looks pretty awesome. If for whatever reason we can't get players in we should just go with a squad under the cap & adjust expectations accordingly.

The way things are being made out at present is SL is struggling to find talented players yet more clubs will be at full cap. Average players should get average wages. Will never see a breakdown of players wages but would be very interesting to see what some of our players are on.

Exactly. Take Lineham, a rookie from York. Upgraded to a 4 year deal with other clubs sniffing - 6 figure fee offered by Wigan signals his substantial value in the market and we'll have had to pay accordingly to secure him. Why people choose to disregard the impact of this on the cap is baffling.
