I was away so didn’t see last night’s game or the incident.

I was originally impressed with Burgess and his comments after the Nu Brown sending off. However, when put in the context of last night, surely he would have taken off one of his players to make it 12 v 12 in February. He decided not to, took the win and just offered sympathetic words after the game and has probably not given it a thought since.

I have often thought that we are not savvy as a club or a team. We see other clubs milk penalties, wave their arms, feign injury or even install a second hand shipping container instead of building a proper stand as it gets them more IMG points. I wouldn’t want the game to become like that, however if others are happy to do that to gain an advantage over us, we need to start giving as good as we get. Well done Richie!

Burgess should blame the admin staff for the error. Hull shouldn’t have even had a say in the matter. Rules are rules. Burgess could quite of easily picked another player for the 21 man squad to sit on the bench for an hour. I’d of been disappointed in Myler if he did allow it

The club were absolutely right to deny Warrington's request, as Wire would be if the situation was reversed, it wasn't up to us to correct another club's mistake.
We could be accused of trying to steal an advantage from the situation, but quite frankly so would every other club in this scenario. If a club, any club, can exploit a situation for their own gain then, invariably, they will, they would be stupid not too. This isn't a kickabout between mates down the park on a Sunday afternoon, it's professional sport, which is a cut throat business.

Do unto others as they would do unto you is probably the best way to sum this up. I don't think any modern day sporting organization is in a position to start claiming the moral high ground in situations such as this.

Myler should keep his trap shut though, no need to antagonise anyone from another club when we might need to do some deals with them

Excuse me Mr Burgess, we made a mistake in our calls when doing our set pieces, which ment we didn't score as many as we should have. If we did it correctly we would've scored 25 points.waning we would've won.

He needs to understand that he's under the spotlight far more now than he ever was as a player and that his actions and attitude potentially have a direct impact on others at the club. Reputational damage can be costly in sport.

That said, I do agree that he made the right decision despite the fact that he shouldn't have even been asked.

I hope Burgess has a multipack of dummies on order. It looks like he'll need them. No hope of finding the one from last night. Probably landed in Leigh Sports Village somewhere.
