What Yeaman (or Horne for that matter) has done in previous years is irrelevant. Even if you're arguing that it is relevant, Yeaman is also known for being greedy with possession.

His opportunity was a glaring chance to put the game to bed and conclude a great team effort and performance, instead he sacrificed that for his own glory. It's all valid criticism, lets hope he can show ability to learn from his mistakes. If not, he shouldn't be immune from criticism or replacement.

I could not believe he did not pass he was never going to score and to me just wanted the glory.

I agree Yeaman played good tonight. Yes maybe you can't fault him for going alone. But that would have been the try to kill off leeds. Saying that he fumbled 2. But perhaps sometimes he should think whats best for the team.

All in all though, solid defensive performance as always.

Very greedy option to try go alone in the corner. Pitts and Reg H were livid! I was giving him loads through the TV too, but his defense tonight was very solid. Good job it wasn't a game changer, but would have put the game to bed and Leeds que on the rack!

Was mentioned tonight that the right /wing partnership of Crooks and Lineham has scored over 30% of our tries this season, so I bet Yeamo was trying to even it out!



All in all a very solid performance against a very good experienced Leeds outfit. If all we can moan about is the lack of an inside ball, then we must be doing something right.

I would say frustrating.Yeaman in the past has never been the best passer has he?,still puts a good shift in though.He will know he dropped a brick there.

Obviously a mistake but its daft to call for him to be dropped after that.

I was impressed with his pace to beat Sinfield and Delaney and leave Vickery trailing though, he absolutely burned them.

just shows how small things can make a differance. a slightly better pass and everyone would be hailing his break differently, even a round the ankles pickup from pitts and all would be forgiven

Dont think we should call for the hangman just yet. Inexcusable but not reason enough to be dropped.reckon he will get a rollicking and improve.personally i think once he went for the corner he should have dived fot it rather than then throwing a blind stupid pass.

Holdsworth was a fair distance away from him to be honest.
He'd have been better going slightly infield, slowing down, drawing the defender then putting it in Reg's bread basket.

Post match he had head bowed when Gentle came out to congratulate team - rest assuers - HE KNOWS.
Personally think he struggles topass that way - Holdsworth was a good few yards away, a lot on here underestimate the skill level required to execute that sort of ball.

Either way but especially that way.

Proved last night that his lack of ability to pass hasn't been coached out of him, indicating either an unwillingness to adapt or just not able to use the experience he has.

Also proved he has lost his pace. He backed himself then realisedbhevcouldnt make it and aimlessly chucked the ball without looking.
