Crikey - not sure how we managed to hang on there. Far from a classic performance from either side by the sound of it but that's a great result.

Lets look on the bright side. We beat the team in second. We've done the double over them - and not many wil do that this year.

We are now third, with our next game against 4th!

Hope we haven't picked up many injuries. Sounded like a few took knocks.

Walking wounded at the end - Shaul, Talanoa, Pryce, Fonua, Pritchard all looked to be struggling.

Massive effort, was certain with 2 minutes left we'd lost it. Superb evening.

A strange positive is that we do have things to work on, we have improvement in us, yet we're sat in the top4 a couple of points from top.

I thought we were gonna blow them away in the first twenty, but they were a tough side, very strong in the collision.

Some battered and bruised body's tonight, thankfully we get a 9 day turn-around.

So now we've ended Warrington's winning run, Wakefield's winning run and now Catalans winning run.

You can just sense the belief returning to the club.

we would have never won games like that last season and beyond, its good that we can not be at our best and still grind out a win against a very good catalan side. well done hull

Cracking entertainment for the neutral , Not so for our right hand side defense , I said when we were linked with Fonua his defense is poor and were reaping that now . He shouldn't be anywhere near centre .

What a nerve shreading game, looked like we were going to lose it in the last couple of minutes which would have been devastating.

A great win though, that's three good unbeaten runs we've ended in the last few weeks. The league table is starting to look very good for us.

Christ what a tense game that was, was bricking it towards the end. Still, great to win these kind of games, will give the players a huge amount of confidence and pride in their performance.

Very ordinary shot on Pryce IMO, should have walked on first view. Reckon a couple of Catalans players will be up for review, disappointing number of high shots.

Thought Bowden, Taylor and Watts were great tonight. What a signing Taylor has been so far.

Thought apart from first 20, worst we have have played the last few weeks, looked really flat at times and the bench struggled to make any impact. Some dumb play and silly penalties.

But we didn't play well and won, though it was Manu's best game for a while, Talanoa go forward was excellent along with Watts and Taylor.

Catalans are a good side and very physical, which in the end cost them the game, think both sides will be in the top 4 at the end of year.

Taylor is one of the best props in the game ATM

Right side defence has to be sorted out, was targeted last week and again this week.

imo we are not getting enough men over that side,leaving fonua and naughton isolated at times

Yeah forgot to mention that, needs addressing, I'd look to play Ellis there and maybe drop Fonua.
