If, as the Hull FC website says, we are going to be short on players, then yes I can sort of understand it - but only to the end of the season. Whst happened to giving youth a chance? Could it be that our youngsters are coming up short too often and PG has changed tack?

Problem is half the kids are out injured too
we cant drag first timers into a match versus Peacock and bailey etc, its a no contest and damaging to their development to get their s handed to them

I understand we're struggling with injuries at the moment but this signing completely goes against the direction that Gentle said he was taking the club into.

Salary cap restraints and availability at this point in a season is always going to mean he will fill holes with stop gaps just to make up a squad when we have so many injuries
