Pryces game was all about pace and guile which seems to have lost due to age and injuries.

Leon Pryce was, is and always will be over-rated. It would be a terrible signing.

Aye. Of course it's just my opinion, but I think he's just been surrounded by quality players. If he did come to us he would have to be a go-to guy and I don't think he can play that role. For me, he doesn't take the line on enough, especially for a half-back his size and his kicking game is nothing to write home about. Defensively sound though.

Yeah bud i agree, from what ive seen of him at Cats he does very little with ball in hand in attack and thats alongside Dureau a good organised half.

Exactly. Like you say, Dureau frees Pryce up to be creative but he just doesn't do it for me. It wouldn't be so bad if he was coming in to play with Holdsworth, but with Pryce and Miller, nobody would be leading the side around the park.

Pryce and Long on form were probably my favourite HB pairing of the SL era. That was a fair while ago though.

Longy was never the same player when Martyn retired.

Longy was better after 2003 when Martyn retired he won more after that season.

Pryce at his best was a phenomenal player IMO, at the time would have had him over any other player in the comp. Problem is that time was a number of years ago.
