| longy will be an excellent signing, combining playing and coaching.rich horne will be a different player next season, hopefully,as he will be alongside a playmaker(aka cooke).his experience along with that of fitzgibbon,o'meley coming in will be invaluable to the squad.

No not IMO, currently the best British scrum half has to be Rob Burrow?!

don't agree burrow is not the organiser in that leeds team like long is for saints. sinfield is the organiser at leeds.
burrow is more of a finisher IMO and always has been. Not saying he is not a good player though

Sinfield does most of the work for him IMO.

| sean long is a brilliant signing.there s no substitute for class whatever age.canterbury bulldogs are going great guns this year and one of the reasons for this is the leadership of brett kimmorley.he is about the same age as long.hull know from the past with players like keith hepworth, david topliss and tony smith, the difference an older guy with class and experience can make.

| Jason Smith was deemed to be finished when he left us and went on to have a great couple of seasons with the Raiders.

He isn't for me. I think he's the most overrated scrum half in our competition. He goes missing in most games for large.Sinfield is clearly the organiser in the Leeds team. He makes one break and eddie & stevo go crazy about him.

Yeah because he had a top quality coach who used him correctly and a good conditioner who gave him an individual training plan and bulked him up to protect his shoulder, something hull never did even then!

| Didnt Brian Noble appoint Jon Sharp as his assistant whilst he was in the Great Britain job? With this experience of working together perhaps Kath may get away with just sacking and paying off one coach.
In saying that, i am sure Sharp will resign his post over the treatment of his best mate Agar...

Would very much doubt Sharp would turn down being assistant to Noble. How many other SL clubs will be queueing up to offer him a head coach role, for example?

It'd be like Turkeys voting for Christmas!

Don't know much about the reserves coming through, but this kid's name does seem to crop up a lot. Who is the most likely to make their first team debut next season?

Liam Kent I would guess will make his first team debut first.
