| Renewal deadline delayed to 27th Jan as club have received feedback that fans are unsure about Covid and potential lockdowns.
Makes sense and fingers crossed we are on the way down on this wave.

| I’ve just renewed our passes for 2022, myself, youngest son, middle son, grandson, and new edition granddaughter although her pass is just a fiver.
I did ask the question regarding the price freeze, when a pass holder who has been in full time education leaves university, the jump from the discounted student pass price to adult is quite a leap, and especially with covid, and limited job opportunities in Hull, I’m sure many a student who are leaving full time education will have no option, not to renew, perhaps a scheme incorporating discounts for the many people who claim universal credit, would be a good way to protect against losing revenue from supporters who may struggle with payments.

Rider I see your point but in fairness its always going to a big jump when you're no longer eligible for a discounted rate in regards to a season but that's just life really. Maybe the club could have offered people who were eligible last season for discounted passes a price halfway between the two for this year only but then where do you stop as a club?
Its a tough one as there's never been a situation like COVID in my lifetime that has affected everyone. Unfortunately the club also needs money to be able to survive and cutting prices and offering more discounts will make it more difficult for the club in terms of revenue. In a way its a bit of a catch 22 situation.
Thankfully I tend to put money away each week throughout the season as a kind of season pass savings fund for the following season so its always less of a hole and don't miss it when paying in full.
Talking of renewals does anyone know when the membership packs for those that have renewed are being sent out?

| Hi Chris, if you go in to stadium shop, with your pass details, they’ll make your bundle up, with your discount vouchers etc, if you don’t want to wait.

Good points Chris, and your rationale regarding saving says older generation rather than student
I was thinking more of a scheme which would include the unemployed, and possibly in receipt of universal credit, I personally know many of our supporters just can’t afford it, that’s probably the answer right there.
But better having a 1000 paying £100 per season, then losing them forever.

Rider I tend to class myself as mid generation as not quite older generation just yet
Its just something I do from experience after the days of youthful exuberance when money burnt holes through my pockets as it was going in my pocket.
I agree in normal circumstances its better to have 10% of something rather than 100% of nothing but due to the terms of the agreement with the SMC its a lot more complicated in terms of handover to the SMC financially based on attendance as it could be that those extra 1000 paying £100 ends up with the club losing money.

I'm in no rush to be honest as the card itself we retain but just wondered if any of the membership packs had started to filter out to members yet.
