| Aye, got told something on the lines of he would not be playing on the wing/centre so a spat broke out hence, "you're not/I'm not playing then" sort of thing. Seems strange, he would do a better job that the current crew IMO.

| I'd heard he'd been slightly uncomplimentary about Sandy's team selection.
As long as we put him at half-back where he should have been all his FC career and NOT fullback, he's not a bad player.
When 2 portly Aussies get the nod, it's time to look elsewhere. Especially if one is a big baby.

Sorry but i don't agree with this. whilst he's not the greatest player in the world he's a decent squad player who is capable of equal measure of brilliance and calamity. never thought much of him at fullback but a more than useful centre or winger. i'm sure quite a lot of rovers supporters would like him in their team at the moment but when you fall out with the coach there's not much you can do. i would certainly put him in ahead of welham. Mind you he might be better off staying at rover in case they have a change of coach in the very near future

| Is someone having a giraffe? This must be a windup.
Craig Hall, Is that what it's come to? Radders must be getting jobs for his mates.
Don't rate him, never have.

| Don’t know if there’s any truth in this whatsoever, more likely the usual 2+2=5 stuff that gets around the rugby scene in Hull. But honest appraisal of his time with us: -
He’s had his fleeting moments of looking very good, but they are fleeting, as I said in the preseason when it was rumoured he was on his way to Wakey he just isn’t good enough in any position to warrant a starting spot. He is too much of a confidence player seems very fragile mentally (in a rugby sense).
He doesn’t have a wingers eye for the line and his pace has gone, he is a defensive liability at centre and not clever enough for a half back. He is the archetypal back up player, can cover the full back line but that’s as good as he’ll get.
I’ve seen all the comments about how he should be in our first 13 but trust me he shouldn’t, Welham may be having his problems but replacing an out of form centre with a shockingly bad one wouldn’t be the answer. Sandercock might be getting questioned on decisions but for me this is the right one.

Yeah, as Sheldon indicates, your squad already has good depth. At the moment, he's apparently down to 4th choice at wing and centre with us, but at least (I assume), he'd be next in line for a shot in the halfs or fullback.
At Hull, he'd be no closer in any position and further back for a couple. Unless Hull have a biggish clear out - As in 2 of McDonnell, Crookes and Miller, or something, I don't see him playing even as much, for you. Plus Biggs maybe just learning the ropes at Doncaster.
I'd be sorry to seem him go. He's flakey, but will do something out of the ordinary from time to time. And we'd miss his versatility, IMO.

| Always thought he was a decent player for us. Not the best, not the worst. Seemed to play better for Rovers than for us. I'd welcome him back.
Seems a bit of a strange signing though if the rumours are true. He's down the pecking order at Rovers and I think he'll be down the pecking order with us as I can only see him being a squad player so why would he want to switch to another club where he'll be in the same position? If anything you'd think he'd be pushing for a move to a club were he could make the starting 13.
From our point of view as well it doesn't appear that we need him given the number of players we have at our disposal. I can only think that if this is true that someone must be leaving.

| I believe 2 out 1 possibly 2 in Radders and AP won't take any $hit. Remember AP did the same at City until he got it right.

| I'd expect Crookes to go, as his replacement its a good move.
Think it will more likely happen at the end of this season though.

Even as a squad player.
Don't see the problem if he improves the squad (by replacing Crookes)
All teams have a few average squad players, Leeds have won SL a few times with average players like Ian Kirke getting game time.

| So the story is he's upset at losing his starting place to Travis Burns? Understandable, but if he doesn't want to be a wing / centre squad player for Rovers why would he move to Hull to be a wing / centre squad player?

It's a good question. But [uif[/u he did leave rovers, the number of clubs that are both stable and where he'd have a decent chance of being a starter, isn't big. Widnes maybe, but that is a long trek along the M62.

I Agree just look at yesterday and last week, Green, Watts, Carvell, Tuson, Mcdonnell, Arguably first choice players yet the lads who came in put in a top performance against last years Grand finalist and this years highly fancied. Imo we would caved and picked up two heavy beatings if we'd of gone into those games with 5 first choice players out.
I think Craig Halls a good squad player and would add to our squad. However I believe talk of a switch back is a little wide of the mark but stranger things have happened.

Without Pearson Hull City would still be languishing down in League Two in my opinion. Any success they are now enjoying wouldn't have been possible if he hadn't have helped guide them up to the Championship.

Who was it that got City moving in the right direction as their owner before he sold them?. If it had not been for AP City would not be the position they are in now.
