It's called faith in our own squad, dosent mean they're going to, & I go off the last game played which we beat a good side, which most had us dead & buried, 48 possible points on our opening night is very good. & if we can sort defence & keep momentum why can't we beat the saints?

I'm not saying we can't, and it's good that you have faith in the squad.
I just thought it was a strange comment that you said Saints were your tip for the title, but that we had better backs, a better pack and would beat them away. Surely in that case Hull are favourites for the title?

| Always like to be positive before an hull game , but that's got me nowhere in the past! And this really does feel like that kind of game, when us hull fans come back to earth with a bump! Think we could be in the wrong end of a big one! Saints by 30+ hope I'm wrong, awfull journey back if I'm right!

Yeamo is better then turner imo, crooks & lineham are better then percival & swift hence first season dream team recognition, Ellis is better then Manu proved this in the toughest league in the world, Carvs,Paea & Feka are better then Walmsley & Amor I do think we could win the league wouldn't go see them everywhere if I didn't I'm not going to start saying this early we are though, I am just going on week to week on who we are playing, at the minute we are not tipped for the title but we are tipped to beat saints. Imo.

| Was Saints really that good against Warrington or was the wire way below par making Saints look better?
I hope we go to Saints and show improvement on the Cats performance. Hope to see better discipline and defence (mainly on Linehams wing) and the attack continues. I'd like to see Horney and Rankin attacking the line more and showing that this team of Radders is not going to trundle up the pitch with five drives and Poor kick. Can we win, only a chance if the discipline is right.

| I think our back five are probably slightly better than Saints, at least in attack, although I do have concerns about our right sided defence after Friday night.
In the halves I think Walsh could be the difference. He will murder us if he plays like he did against Wire.
Saints now have one of the best packs in the league but we have undoubtedly been strengthened by the arrival of Carvell and I was impressed by Feka on Friday night.
Saints must be favourites but with the right attitude and better discipline we should give a good account of ourselves and be competitive.

| Saints will of course be favourites and I'd be happy with a competitive display from Hull, but we saw last year at Warrington that you can travel to a team in form and get a win if your attitude is right.

| really did'nt know what to expect on friday but happy to say was quite impressed.perfect result for me as it could of been a drubbing if we'd kicked goals but the fact we switched off and nearly threw it away shows how small the margins are between winning and losing.proved we can attack which is good for confidence but radders will leave them in no doubt the defence and drop in intensity was no were good enough.be happy with a good performance next 2 games even if no points

Exactly, we should be looking to win every game and taking them one at a time and not looking any further.

Blimey ... Was expecting it to be a little more even some points from a saints perspective though:
Are you using the turner 2011 model or the 2014? - he was our most improved player last year and only behind Wilkin for player of the year, he was always good in attack, but has an understanding with makinson which has helped his defence 50fold.
Percival and swift is an interesting selection for that comparison! Surely the fairer comparison should be jones and makinson? International recognition vs dream team etc Percival is one to watch out for though.
Well yes 3 props vs 2 is never really going to go well for the 2 props! Whilst we won't have masoe back yet at least compare the 4 props vs 4 props!

| We all know saints have made 2 or 3 great signings but how can that propel them from being the worst saints team(many peoples opinion)in super league history to being favourites this season, are they being overhyped or were they not far away last season??

Their pack is miles better and they've signed a top quality half to play behind its new found dominance. A recipe for success.
