surely It would have been wise for salford to make the stadium unavailable all weekend as sky could change the game.
If they made it unavailable then sale would have had an away game for 1st game of season.

As I understand it the Sale game was originally scheduled for the Friday and was moved to the Saturday [iat Salford's request[/i as Fridays are their usual home night. Just one of those things, unfortunately.
