Me if you like and thats a non idea - Washbrook is not a No 6 and the sooner the people in charge realise this the better - RL is a about pace and he a got non of that not in thought or feet

Washbrook is a loose forward and plays his best rugby there, but while super fitz is here he wont get a game at 13. In the meantime we have to play turner at centre and whiting on the wing because of injury to calderwood and raynors situation etc. Tansey has to be fullback because hall (although his tackling has improved) has zero positional sense in defence. And horney is injured, so washbrook is what we're left with at 6 im afraid

wow, very harsh, wouldn't have said he was the worst on the pitch today, feel sorry for him, he doesnt get a chance to play in the position he prefers and gets fan bashed repeatedly, I think he is a very professional young man and with the right coaching and position he could be an excellent asset to the club

Trouble is we have three loose forwards {potential} playing in the backs, Whiting, Turner and Washbrook. Agree Washy has gone backwards, but he is NOT a stand off.

Anybody who thinks Whiting will get a chance at 13 before Washy needs there head testing.

I'm not sure i agree with every post VoiceOfReason puts on this forum, but asking a Mod how long you have to put up with the posts is like telling your Mummy and Daddy, or telling the teacher! If you dont like what VoiceOfReason says, dont read it - simples!

Must admit, not to this degree but I aren't happy with Washbrook at 6, not what so ever but who would replace him apart from Horne who spends half of the year in Hospital. Something that needs bringing up and rectifying and someone needs signing.

Agar said yesterday he would not be ready for the Cats game, maybe the week after.

Washy is not great at 6 but at the moment it suits us with Horne being out, Tansey could play there but we would miss his fullback play. Washy has done a decent job for the last 4 games which we won.

Ok, he's not a stand off and he would probably be the first to admit it, but you cant fault his enthusiasm, he always gives his all, tackles his heart out and works hard for the team as a whole, would love to see him trained by someone who believed in him or at least someone who would play him where he would do the most good.

There's one thing saying he had a poor game but to call the kid an "absolute piece of crap" is totally uncalled for. Would like to see him go out there and do better.

The OP is correct and this is the 3rd year we have had to put up with it. I'm not saying it's DW's fault and it could be argued it'd not entirely Agars fault but the facts are that he is not good enough and this is the 3rd year he has played there. It's absolutely ridiculous that we are still in this situation.
