Why not try shaul at half back. We signed him up as a 7 from skirlaugh. We've got nothing to lose and with shaul's quick feet could come in handy.'"
I understand the only position Shaul can play is fullback, so he won't be playing in the half's anytime soon.

If you've watched Wests then you will know they have been awful. Benji has been poor nevermind and bearing in mind everything attackwise goes through Farrah and Benji then Miller has had little chance to shine.
He can't be judged on his current gametime, he's just starting out in first grade. That said I do think Sironen looks a better player and ready now so can see why he has been taken out. No chance Miller will re-sign with the Tigers but another NRL club might take him and if he does come to SL i'm sure other sides would be interested too.
Hopefully the link with Gentle would sway him to come here.

Oh I totally agree, Wests have been poor this season, although some players have had cracking games for them. Farah, Koroibete, Lawrence and even Molzten look great this season. I'm not by any means saying Miller is poor, but he has looked very average in every game this season. The fact he was picked as the scrum half in the toyota cup team of the year shows that he's a talented player. My post is more relating to the fact that certain posters paint inaccurate pictures of every single signing we make, based on nothing other than the fact they've signed for us. They do it for every player we sign, every single season - and it's this unfounded, slack jawed optimism that really winds me up!

He's been garbage this season IMO. One of the worst fullbacks in NRL. Anasta is injured the last I heard and Benji is out of form. Miller will stay at the tigers this season with out a doubt. He could even stay there beyond if he improves and has a top season! Would be a great signing if we pulled it off. So hard to get a decent 7 nowadays!

Thats interesting. I wonder how far back it has put him in his development being played in a position he wasnt suited to throughout his formative years?

Or more than likely improved his basic handling skills and understanding of different aspects of the game enabling him to secure a professional contract.

players rarely have a set in stone position in their junior years, he'll have developed his understanding and handling skills quite equally playing at 1, 7, or 9.

Ignore the Rovers troll, as a moderator you'd have hoped for better from it, but alas, he just underpins the stereotype, a jealous small bankrupt club.
