I'm prepared to offer the Centre of Excellence £300bn. In fact I'll give them a blank cheque, but they STILL WON'T HAVE AN FA LICENCE, so what is the point?

this is the same BoD who effectively saved the club and took us to 3 major finals thanks to their investment, who got us to the best stadium in Super League and have continued to support the club? I'm not their biggest fan by any stretch, but do you really, really want someone who wants a merged RL team in Hull anywhere near us?
He didn't give Rovers £1m cos he's a nice guy.... |

Your right there, but he'll get it in August, and the FA have holded 2 centre places back till december, us and sunderland didnt have the part 2 of the grade a licence, still looks promising! |

they was asked for help a while ago, but declined, this seems to be a bit of publicity for him, (the college doesnt actually need the finance, the COE would have 50,000 from the Fa, which all the coe around the country get) and the meetings with the parents and the coaching staff have been very informative of the whys? and wherefores? maybe Mr Allam could attend a meeting, even if we get the licence in December, we still couldnt join the COE league until september 2012, so no matter what the girls (a very talented group of girls) have missed out on a year in the programme, but the coaches are working with the county FA to get something in place for the coming season! |

Whilst I don't want allam anywhere near our club I do wonder if the current board would be interested if he waved enough cash under their noses. What it would cost to buy us is chicken feed in the grand scheme of things and would remove a significant problem for him in his quest to buy the KC. Maybe the "gift" to the dobbins was a sweetener pending him buying us?
