regards the rust buckets at the gates of west park.......
i was involved with the manufacture of these beasts and to say they cost a fortune would be an understatement....the council/designers used to visit our premises to observe the construction process and to moniter time etc etc...
i couldnt beleive when they stated that the "monoliths" and the fencing ewre not rusty enough!!!!
hence us having to spray them down with gallons of water to make them more rusty...id advise anyone not to get too close to them or i dread to think what colour your jacket/jeans would be like after an incounter with one....

No chance of taking them away and getting them galvanized then.

With a bit of luck some scrap metal dealer will steal it, what a disaster its so ugly.

A so here is the ultimate proof that our great city is indeed....... run by total soul-less retards. I can't believe the money these utter numpties spend on 'improving' the look of Hull. The blue and white stick with the three wet balls at the top of Spring Bankladesh is bad enough, then theres the open spaces left from the demolishion of LA's, Bonus Electrical's old place near Myton Bridge and of course Boothferry Park (HOW LONG HAS THAT BEEN GONE...ISH ?) and our own beloved Boulevard......... They insult us by giving us some 'artwork' in the form of four lumps of scrap and some blindmans attempt at a mosaic as a replacement to the entrance to West Park. OK i'm no expert on art....but i do have an A level on the subject and understand that everyones perspective on 'art' is vastly different.....BUT.....Even I can agree with most that these lights could do with a damn good rub down and a couple of coats of hammerite.
Soooo if there are any councilers reading this.........

Where do you start?.Waste of money in this city again.It looks awful.It looks half finished.Unimaginative and most of all the park has lost it's Victorian charm.Very disappointing.
