If we sign any more Rovers players to make them feel at home we'll have to knock down the North Stand, move the South Stand back two miles and cut off the ends of the East and West stands too.

Our home gates will need to fall by 4-5,000, but we will need to take an extra 98,000 to all away games.







Saying that I wouldn't say no to Dobson, always liked him. However, it's Gentle's/AP call, so we'll have to see whether we want to keep Seymour and/or whether Chase happens. Happy what ever the Coach decides.

I remember watching Smirk in our A team regularly, and always being impressed. I remember a rare first team appearance from him, along with a winger called Turner helping us beat Saint Helens at Boulevard. Still, I'd be very surprised if he was making a comeback!

The statement that we were told was 6 players. Galea won't have been in this, and Watts and Pitts won't have been included as Pearson stated '6 players that we can't yet announce'. Pitts and Watts were already with us by that point.

So we have had Holdsworth, Crookes, and Johnson (announced by Wakey but not by us). So surely we have more than one more to be announced?

If we lose tomorrow then I expect that we'll see the highest profile of the signings announced on Monday, but if we win then we'll probably just get one announcement midweek and try to keep the focus on the playoffs.

The loss of Heighington and Ryan and a statement by Benji Marshall plus a Board meeting appear to indicate the demise of Tim Sheens as the Tigers coach. Replacements mentioned in the Sydney press include Matt Parish and Mick Potter as well as current assistant Steve Geogallis and former assistants Royce Simmons and Peter Gentle.

Tim Sheens has been linked to a move to the Warriors but only 3 candidates have been reinterviewed for the job- Kearney, Matt Elliott and Justin Morgan.

Peter Gentle has only just (last week) signed a extension keeping him at Hull FC for the next 3 years so I dont think theres any substance to that at all.

There was talk of Brown as well, Aussie press have no idea about sl clubs.

That one wouldnt suprise me to be honest, Rush and Cunningham have done a sterling job.

I don't think Pearson has to go that far, the fact that he is even selling season tickets is an upgrade on what rovers are doing.
