Looks like the lads might be running out to the delights of the Baha Men next season

A breathtaking display of pious sanctimony by the Aussies. When you consider the atrocities that happen in the world this is simply nothing. Agree fully with Digby and Eddie.
Could be a gift for a lucky SL club. He's obviously got the pedigree to star over here and I bet he'll soon get used to the pound.
I don't think the heckling will last long, because it's not "personal" to any club like Cooke and Schofield were to us, for example. The only reason we persisted with chants about them for so long was because they'd induced such hate. Monaghan hasn't done that to anyone here (or in Aus - the Raiders are fools of the highest order to let him go over this, imo).
He'll probably just get it the first time he visits each club. If we're prepared to take the chants of 'Watch your knick-knacks, lick a sac, give a dog a bone' or some such twaddle should we consider if he's better than Yeaman? By all accounts he is. We've got the quota spotty but the cap's presumably an issue. And he's not a half. But he is a bloody good centre going begging.
But what any prospective club should consider that actually [iis[/i important is the fact that he's resorted to counselling for his "drink problem". Unless that was a lip-service exercise to demonstrate he's serious about addressing the issues that led to all this.
