Wakey have just won away at Widnes

The biggest thing for us in recent years was IL buying the club. He has had an obsession with youth development and bringing in 'Wigan' people who have a passion for the club. His first coaching appointment was well researched and paid dividends. He has put in place a progression for coaches to gain experience and work their way up. The club as a whole is completely different since DW owned it.

Er...Bradford then? If they don't win their appeal, that is.

I still think Wakey will win fewer games than us this season.

If Bradford get some points back we are in massive trouble

So far we've managed one more win than Wakey. And we have fewer home games left.

Surely he wouldn't leave Wigan for us.

Maybe he fancies a tour of some of the North's smaller towns and cities next season?

Well, on the plus side, I hear they do a lovely pie at Keighley.

Has Radford been on radio yet? I wouldn't be suprise if he didn't even bother. I'd be too embarrassed to talk to them.

It was the club chaplain's fault for not praying hard enough.

Radford needs to drop down to the lower leagues to learn his trade as a coach. At this rate he might get a chance to do it with us.

All the hard work by Gentle is slipping away.

I don't care how good Wigan May have been, we were utter garbage.

Then he lacks integrity, as he promised he would walk if he couldn't improve us.

He thinks he will improve us in the long term.

As did Agar. It's easy to make grand statements that you think sound good at the time, but far more difficult to back them up when the mortgage payments are on the line.

So we'll be a top Championship side?

You might be onto something. That game at The Boulevard (against Sheffield) where we had to win to stay up was one of the most exciting I can remember.

Sadly before my time but hopefully such heroics can be recreated this year.
Can you imagine the atmosphere if we have to beat Leeds in our final home again to stay up.....oh wait.......
